AAC 29 / MNA 5

G'day mate....

Now, I just wanna share the moment when I was a Cadet ( 1991-1992 )

as an Ordinary boy I've never go to Other Country since I was a child, and I've never go somewhere by a Commercial Aeroplane...
but, suddenly my Life has changed, when after graduated from High school I've applied and did the test for Indonesian Civil Aviation Training Centre Curug ( now STPI ), but I don't know how....Finally I passed the test then They said that I will be sent to Merpati and will be doing the Course at Australian Aviation College in Adelaide, South Australia...

Well, I really surprised, happy & lil bit Affraid cause I don't know how's life in Other Country, especially for a High School Boy like me...But, I was lucky because I have so many friends that will be doing the same Course there & they're really a great peoples...

finally, we were 17 Cadets who went to Australia as a Course 29 or Merpati Nusantara Airlines co.5... It's a very amazing moment by the time we arrived there, especially fo me, because that was my first time far from home...and My Classmates were :........(in Alphabetical )
Andrey Setiawan ( Gondet )
Ario Tejo Christoforus ( Chockman )
Djoko Prihananto ( TEX Man or the Jack )
Dani Sobari ( Adul )
My Self ( Metal )
Fernadi Daufril ( Coped )
Fitzgerald Juliaan ( ALAMO or Ba'on )
Hendi Widyakso ( K-cunk )
Irvan Fikri ( Simpson )
Ivan Paltak Siregar ( Mami )
Moh. Rosyid Widyatmaji ( Ochied )
Moch. Kurniawan ( Iwan Curug or Capung )
Onny Haryadi ( Kentang )
Putu Bagus Deny ( Bali )
Selprien Eko Prasetiyo ( Galer )
Surya
Tangguh Finaldi ( Ithonk 0r The King of The Darkness )

All the Cadets, The Instructors and all surrounding Peoples were really nice and kindly, so I could reduce my Homesickness and culture's shock....
First, we have a Ground school about 2 months, then start flying with a Tobago TB 10...
then continue with Trinidad TB 20 when we've got a RPPL & PPL including for Solo & Navigation Flight...
o ya, We've also got about 10 hrs Aerobatic's Flight with a CAP 10 aircraft as an Introduction for Un-Usual attitude Condition & how to recovery...
After that, we flew a Beechcraft BE 76 Dutchess for Our CPL & Multi Engine Instrument rating....

Unfortunately only 14 Cadets were finished & got the CPL and Multi Engine Instrument Rating by the end of that Course on Nov, 1992...we're really sorry about that, but Finally the others 2 Cadets could continue their goal to be a Pilot till Today ( thank's God )... only One still lost contact till today....

So, if anyone who read this Blog and Knew about Our Lost Friends, please Let Us Know... We really want to know about Him & We're really appreciate it....

thank's a lot and safe flight always

Where the Journey is started....

G'day, how's going Mate.....

Finally, after about 20 years graduated from one of the Best Aviation College in Australia, I decided to learn how to make a Blog and try to share what I've got from Australian Aviation College that has changed and, if I can say, became the starting Point of My Life so I can be as what I am today...

I'm sure there are so many peoples around the world that have same experiences about Their life, no matter They're finally became a Great Pilot or any other jobs...but, some of  Us will think that the time when we're studying at Australian Aviation College is Our Best Starting and Transition moment from "Nothing to Something" in Our life till Now...

I never write anything for whole of my life until I found and realized that the College that has changed my Life is already "Gone", or maybe only Change the Name and Owner, but still I couldn't find anything about Australian Aviation College, even just an image or logo of it when I'm googling...

That's the time when I decided to start this Blog, with a little Hope that I can find and collect any data or information about Australian Aviation College, such as ; all the Cadets information, Batch, Photo/picture, Instructors etc...

well, as my first Blog, I really don't know what should I write... But the point is I hope we all can linked together again and share everything here...

Please feel free to give any comment or information, as long as No Rasism, No Hustlle, No Porns, No Politics....

We are here to be Reunited and share the great moments...

Bravo and Thank's to Australian Aviation College and all The Instructors....

Safe Flight Always
